Good morning this morning. Today, as we all know, is the last day of Repetition – October Challenge. It has been a good month, I would say. Not all have hit the target but many have.

These challenges is not only for fun. We know today that the larger part of visual communication goes unnoticed. Meaning that pictures mainly effect you below the threshold of consciousness. They effect you subconsciously.

These challenges are meant to train your vision to detect structures that are important as to how you perceive visual information. Like, for instance, in visual repetitions that groups or links things that are similar whether you like is or not. Each challenge is an instrument to know more about visual messaging in (street) photography.

November Challenge is not going to be easy. In fact, you get an extra dimension to deal with compared to October Challenge.

In the October Challenge you were asked to look for ONE thing: Repetitions. In November Challenge you are asked to look for TWO things: A group of people that act in Common Fate, AND a single Swede. Meaning one person that goes against the Common Fate.

You have to do that in a way that clearly distinguish both. We are here to MAKE a point. Not to HIDE a point. Occam is going to be all over you in November.

So then: GOOD LUCK with November Challenge. It starts tomorrow and lasts till the end of November.

Ask any question you like but it is first and foremost your own show.
